Come Fly With Me

I just got the fall  2012 edition of the Somerset Apprentice magazine. This is my take on the mixed media piece on the cover by Sharon Borsavage.

All put together -

Here it is all finished - the cover is floppy and I'm not sure I like it that way, but it was a fun project!

Now to wait for the inspiration to work in it.  So many choices - quotes, lists, thoughts, pictures, or maybe I'll give it to someone . . . who knows?

The cover is made of canvas, I really like the way the canvas took the paint. Now to sew in the pages!

Workshop

Right before I went in the hospital I had signed up for a workshop by Roben-Marie .  Mixed Media Mayhem
I've worked on it off and on all month. It has been good therapy. Here are a few pages -
