Christmas Tree

This was inspired by an article in Somerset Studio Nov.- Dec 2012. The piece was done by Janet Bergen Movahhed. I fell in love with it and had to try it myself.

It's a collaged canvas with distressed Christmas music, various pieces of cloth and lace, vintage buttons, safety pin, and paper flowers I made.

Getting Caught Up (hah!)

I can believe it's been so long since I've posted! I've been trying to get caught up on some things I started and never finished. My room was getting overrun with stuff and no room to work on anything new!

I started on a Christmas garland last December. Since it was getting close to Christmas I thought I would finish it first. I finally did towards the end of October.

I guess you could call this an  'action'  photo.

This is made of photos of Christmas 2010.

Christmas Day 2011

I didn't get up many Christmas decorations this year - ( less to take down), but I had enough. This layout is of opening presents Christmas morning. The locket on the left side of the picture is what Tom gave me for Christmas.

18 More Days to Christmas -

and I've got so much more to do! I did get some Christmas decorations made. These were featured in Somerset Studio Magazine, Readers Submissions. These little cuties were by Kandi Ali Watkins, and I fell in love with their little faces, so I had to try my hand at making some.

More Lights

I managed to get up most of our lights yesterday. With the fireplace and the Christmas lights it is sooo relaxing!
