Art Journal Project 52 Pg 12 - Dawn
Another art journal page - if the background looks familiar it's Hwy 62 leaving Tahlequah going east.

Art Journal Project 52 Pg # 7 Wolf/Sheep
This was done with acrylics, oil pastels, gel medium transfer, collage papers, and stamps. I loved this "Red Riding Hood" girl - I thought she looked more evil than the wolf!

Art Journal Project 52 Pg #6 Give_Teach
This page was done with acrylics, glimmer mist, gel transfer, oil pastels, and charcoal pencil. I liked it really well until I covered up too much of the background. I really didn't intend to, it just happened.

Art Journal Project 52 Pg 5 Heart
I really enjoyed making this page. The little boy is a copy of a digital painting I made a year ago. It's a composition painting of Joseph and Jordan. The technique for the background is transfers of an old book using gel medium. The rest is painted by me. I really like the bird with the heart.

Art Journal Project 52 Pg 4 Clothing
I liked this page until I put the lettering on it, I just don't do lettering well at all! And I'm not sure I ever will learn.

Art Journal Project 52 Pg 3 - Battle
The method behind this page is painting over a magazine page. I threw out most of my magazines a while back, so I had to go with a picture out of an old book I liked.

Art Journal Project 52
This year I joined an online art journal class with Sherrie JD at DeviantScrap. We do one page a week. She does a series of videos each week, showing the creation of her art journal page. Each week she showcases a different technique. The videos are not edited, so we can benefit from all her mistakes too! Every week is different and I am enjoying the class so far. Each page is presumably built around a quote, or a quote is found later to go with the page. I'm not much for lettering with fancy writing, but I have definitely discovered what I do Not like! I will start posting my pages here.
