Tom called me out in the yard to see this - the bluebirds were in a frenzy. They were flying back and forth everywhere and fluttering in front of their house.

We finally figured out it was the blue jays getting too close!

Turkey Season

Turkey season is still going on. We have spent a few days at the camp trying to get a bird. We have heard several and seen some on the road (while we riding  around) but no score. The most exciting thing was  - sitting in the bushes, relaxed and getting sleepy - I hear the pine straw rustle and look down and a snake (I think a moccasin) is trying to crawl up my leg! Needless to say - my heart must be good because I am still here and I can crawl really fast!  Scares me to think about it.

I thought I would have to do this twice. I had it all done and lost it. It was a lesson in warping type and I had to do each letter one at a time. But I found it!   Credits -
