Garden Progress

I planted my lettuce plants in the garden and now I'm worried they won't make because it's too warm.  It's 81 degrees today. I'm Not  Ready  for hot weather!!!

This was fun page to work on, and if anybody wonders, those two guys are James & Matt from a picture of mine in high school. they were playing around on the top of Matt's van. The van is not the same one.

Veggies

I moved my tomatoes and romaine lettuce outside today. The weather is supposed to be warm all week. My peppers are still a little to small to move.

Art Journal Caravan 2011

Another project I took on this year is the Art Journal Caravan 2011 with Tangie Baxter. It is all digital using products from ScrapbookGraphics,  other places and some of my own.. It is also  a once a week page for a year. This consists of weekly prompts, quotes, ideas, etc. It is somewhat like the digital scrapbook pages I do, only it is a 'journal' instead of a scrapbook. It is online and tons of people from all over the world are able to participate. I intend to have them all printed as a book at the end of the year.

This year I joined an online art journal class with Sherrie JD at DeviantScrap. We do one page a week. She does a series of videos each week, showing the creation of her art journal page. Each week she showcases a different technique. The videos are not edited, so we can benefit from all her mistakes too! Every week is different and I am enjoying the class so far. Each page is presumably built around a quote, or a quote is found later to go with the page. I'm not much for lettering with fancy writing, but I have definitely discovered what I do Not like! I will start posting my pages here.
